Our sustainability policies follow the guidelines of the ESG model, which connects the entire economic ecosystem and its relationship with society and the environment to three factors:
Environmental
The environmental dimension includes reducing CO2 emissions, improving energy efficiency and the use of natural resources, adopting policies measures to prevent pollution at production sites and implementing circular practices in resource management.
Social
The social dimension focuses on improving the workplace environment, welfare, industrial relations, gender, ability and age diversity, labor standards, workplace safety and the protection of human rights.
Governance
The corporate governance dimension includes ethics and transparency, the development of sustainability plans and targets, control procedures, policies and the conduct of leadership and the organization in terms of ethics and compliance..
More clean energy, fewer emissions
Our commitment to environmental protection translates into a concrete reduction of atmospheric emissions through the use of clean energy from renewable sources.
In line with this approach, the company has been relying on photovoltaic systems for the energy production with a total capacity of 1,600 kW, soon to be expanded by an additional 1,100 kW with the installation of new systems.
FSC® and PEFC certified materials
For the manufacture of components and furniture, at our customers’ request, we use FSC® (FSC-C106500) and PEFC (PEFC/18-32-56) certified raw materials and semi-finished products, sourced from controlled supply chains and forests managed responsibly from an environmental, social and economic perspective.
