Our history
Evolution driven by innovation | The beginnings
Our story began in May 1986, when three founders — including today’s majority shareholder Claudio Zamai, set out to meet the growing demand for curved doors, fronts and components for the furniture industry, combining technical expertise with craft-based know-how.
From curved components to furniture
Our expertise in curved components quickly evolved into the manufacture of assembled curved furniture on a subcontract basis. This growth was enabled by in-house production of all required components, including flat ones, supported by investment on advanced machineries capable of handling complex, integrated processes.
From flat components to furniture with flat surfaces
Investments in new technologies both expanded our product range and increased our production capacity.
Our offer has grown to include flat doors, fronts, components and furniture, made with different technologies, materials and designs, to meet the needs of the furniture industry.
A single partner for veneering, UV coating and polymer-foil wrapping
In the early 1990s, a veneer line for panels with real wood veneer was introduced, used for flat components.
In the early 2000s, we installed a complete UV coating line for high gloss finishes, later enhanced with an excimer oven for ultra matt coatings.
In 2017, with the addition of an integrated squaring, wrapping, and post forming line, we expanded our products range to include 1D and 2D polymer foil or paper wrapped components.
Ongoing evolution in the offer of flat components
Our know-how in flat components manufacturing has grown steadily over time.
Due to the increase of the demand, we expanded our product variety, available technologies, production capacity and flexibility, supported by the installation of a just-in-time nesting and sizing/edgebanding system.
Today: a trusted partner for production and design
With over 80,000 square meters of covered industrial space and more than 180 employees, we provide complete support to our partners, from design consultancy to after-sales, ensuring assistance and reliability at every stage of the order.
